Question about project

I was planning on hiring a person for my software development, so I asked the cards if I will get the desired results if I ask this person S to do it for me?

Nine of Spades - King of Spades - Eight of Hearts

Nine of spades is a card of suffering and disappointments. Since it is the first card I see it as a bad start. He might give me some trouble, I might feel like the project is falling apart, but the King looks like a person who knows business. This man is cold, can be manipulative but is shrewd. The Eight of Hearts is a time for celebration and since it is at the end, I will assume that things will turn out good for us in the end. The dominant suit of spades is giving me a warning and uneasy feelings though, I will seek a second-advice from a friend and then talk the final deal with this person.

Today's Draw:

Jack of Clubs - Five of Diamonds - Eight of Diamonds

Jack is either a person in one's life or it can represent a news.

Diamonds are about money, wealth and material things.

Jack with two diamonds can represent a new related to money.

The Fives are about body and health and Diamonds are material, therefore, it can be related to shopping, eating or similar material stuff.

Eight is the ideas and thoughts, Diamonds again the material and money, so thoughts an ideas about money and finances.This card is repeated from yesterday, and I was thinking a lot about my financial situation.

Together I gather that I might get a news about some money or expenses occur which make me have some ideas and thoughts about money and job situation.

Update: The news or rather an event which occurred is that I have spend some bucks on my laptop's new power cable. Now I have to manage about money.

Daily Draw Feb 23

Today's cards were:

Ace of Spades - Nine of Hearts - Eight of Diamonds

Aces are about beginnings, a start, a new cycle. Aces are usually short-living because they are in the bud yet. The Spades are associated with troubles, tears, grief and problems. The Ace of Spades has been a dreadful card. It shows that a new problem has arisen.However, the traditional meanings have shown its about death, an ending, a difficult end to something. Endings are not always bad, sometimes they give us a chance to start from scratch again, so that we can start it over, in a better manner, using the knowledge we have gained.

Nine of Hearts is the best card for me. Its called a wish Card. The Nines are associated with fortune, good things, changes for better. The card which surrounds it, or the card preceding, precisely, is what the querent is wishing for.

Eight of Diamonds is a card of change in fortune. The Eights are associated with ideas and thoughts while Diamonds are the business, material and money matters. Eight of Diamond shows there is a tendency to think about money and finances. How to meet expenses etc.

Putting them together, its a day when I will have to make a tough call, might even have to end something, put some troubles to sleep. It will be a good decision because the next card is Nine of Hearts which shows that the decision will bring some good luck and a wish will come true and this will make me put more of my focus on my financial problems and my concerns about money.

This sort of makes sense, I have been pre-occupied with thoughts of what happened in past, how I quit my job because of someone who is not even in my life any more, and now I'm broke, I need money and I don't have enough. The Ace of Spades at the beginning is comforting, I will atleast make a decision, and think more about my finances than him.

Basics!

I wanted to add this page here because I have started a new course Rural Cartomancy atThe Magic Circle School and I have always been very much interested in divination with playing cards. It is said that the playing cards were originated from the mother, Tarot.However, there are no reversals, only upright meanings.

There are two colours in the playing cards deck, Red and Black. Reds are the good ones and Black are the bad ones. The deck is divided into further four suits, Diamonds, Heart, Spades and Clubs.

My association rules are following:

Diamonds = Pentacles/ Earth = money, possessions, wealth, fortune == Winter == Years
Hearts = Cups/ Water = emotions, family, relationships = Summer == Months
Spades = Swords/ Air = troubles, disputes, tears, suffering == Autumn == Weeks
Clubs = Wands / Fire = work, plans, ideas, business == Spring == Days

The general meanings for the cards irrespective of suits are:

Ac = beginnings
Two = a pair, exchange, partnership
Three = Making three from two, Growth
Four = A perfect stable square, no change, stability, stagnation
Five = Bodily things, gains/losses
Six = paths (look at the way they are laid out)
Seven = trouble (interrupting six)
Eight = Ideas and thoughts
Nine = changes, ambition
Ten = Completion

Kings = Powerful, aged men
Queen = women
Jacks = a message, a child/youth of either gender

Some readers include the Joker as the Fool from the Tarot, similarly some systems remove certain number of cards from the deck and then use it, it all varies from system to system and what works for you. I am starting with full deck of 52 cards, I will occasionally use a Joker if required for the spread. For the daily draws I will pull one card for the day along with cards from another oracle cards deck (Lenormand, for example).

This is my knowledge and experience thus far about the playing cards cartomancy and I will add with time when I learn new things about them .

Till then, Blessings to the learners' way

Alyna.
