Stay or Leave

Original spread creator and explanation here.

This spread is originally a Tarot spread and is used to assess whether to stay in a relationship or leave.

I have not chosen the Justice or any card since I decided to do the reading with Playing cards deck.

Stay or Leave spread

1.Your Heart. This is what your heart tells you and how you feel deep down about your relationship.

Jack of Hearts
This is the card of romance. Jack is a young person who is a beloved. This card here indicates that querent feels totally naive and emotional about the bond they have. This can also be querent's beloved. This card tells that querent believes her lover is the one who can never go wrong. She loves and trusts him a lot.

2. Your Mind. This is your deepest held belief about your relationship.

Ten of Diamonds:
This card is the card of ultimate financial security, success and expansion, specially in terms of material. This card tells that querent believes deep down that their relationship is what is the ultimate success and satisfaction one can ask for.

3. Staying. This tells you the reason you might decide to stay.

Ten of Clubs:
Another 10. This card, since it is also a ten, is also the card of ambition, success and material affairs. This card signifies that the querent wants to stay in the relationship because she is feeling secure and satisfied.

4. Going. This shows you why you might opt for singledom.
Jack of Diamonds:
Another person who is young, ambitious, wealthy and intelligent. She might have another option open [just in case] and she would consider him if she gets out of this relationship.

5. Advice. This card tells you what needs to change for you to decide to stay permanently.
 Nine of Diamonds:

The querent holds a belief which is represented by 10 of Diamonds and what needs to change is 9 of Diamonds, lowering of expectations? This card is associated with mental energy, imagination and mental attitude. She needs to change her attitude before she can be sure about whether to stay with him or not.

We have majority of red cards which is a good omen. The only black card is the 10 of Clubs which is also a good card.

Will We Get Married?

This reading was done for a friend "S" who has been in a long-distance relationship with a guy named "K". she asked if they will get married.

Question: Will S and K get married this year?

Five Pointed Star Spread
The positions are:
1. The nature of concern:
The Aces represent new beginnings, the Ace of Spades however, signifies an ending and then a new beginning. This is also the card which tells us that querent is worried, or her mind is occupied of fear and anxiety. This card in the question for marriage shows that the querent wants to end something in her life and start afresh by marrying the bf in question. The querent said that the relationship has been going on off and on and she wants to end this pattern once and for all. I don't see love as the reason for the wish to be married, I rather see the querent wanting to marry the bf out of fear (of losing him ) or worry and anxiety (that it will not last forever) and she wants to end the patterns of their relationship, even leave the older life behind and start afresh with the bf (move in with him, start a family, even move abroad etc).

2. The reason of concern:
Jack of Diamond, the only red card in the spread. I believe this is the bf in question. He is a wealthy guy who has been studying finance and is now working in the finance department in a private bank. This confirms the Ace of Spades, the reason S wants to marry K is simply because she wants a fresh start and she wants this only because he wants it. She is definitely not doing it out of love.He is the one who can provide her whatever she needs, new home, new life, financial security.

3. Additional Information:
Another Spade, which signifies cutting the old ties. My intuition has been confirmed. She wants to cut off from her past and start a new life with this man in question.

4. Advice /Answer:
Another Spade and this time the bigger one in number than both in position 1 and 4. She is doing it more out of obligation than love or any other reason. This card is also associated with grief, pain, and endings. The card just magnifies what we have already collected from above three positions. when you want to be with someone for life you want to be sure its not done out of fear, or even responsibility. I believe since she has been romantically involved with him for so long, she feels obligated to marry him if he wants it, while this should not be the case.Since it answers the question if they will get married, the answer is No.

5. Outcome:
4 of Clubs which represents solid foundations, laying foundations for future progress and possibly stable career. The Clubs suit is associated with work as well as learning. I believe she will learn her lessons and she will lay a solid foundation for her future progress.

There are 4 black cards in the spread which means the answer is NO for the time span covered by this spread (3-6months). She needs to re-evaluate her reasons for marrying him and she also needs to make sure that marriage is a union of two souls, which should not be some obligation or fear. It should only be out of love.

When will I get married spread , again

Madame Nadia has given an excellent demontration of this spread here

First of all you select a significator usually a court card to represent the querent.I did the same for a friend of mine who is almost my age. I chose the King of Diamond for him since he is the one with lost of investment ideas and money around him.

Next you shuffle and take out 20 cards from the spread. This is the yes/no answer for the question if the person will get married at all.

The lady in question is 35year old. So I chose Queen of Hearts for her and shuffled and took out 20 cards.

We have Queen and King of Hearts so I can say that will be her husband , the man she will be married to.

Since the QUeen has appeared in the 20 cards, this means a Yes, so moving on to next step for determining the "when" part, we divide the cards into 5 piles of 4 each. Whichever pile contains the significator card is the indicator of timing.

Here is the breakdown of the five piles by Madame Nadia:

(1) Marriage within 1-2 years.
(2) Marriage within 2-5 years. Possibly a long period of dating, and living together, without an official ceremony.
(3) Marriage will take place, but only after 5+ years.
(4) No marriage in first 5-6 years. A possibility of a broken engagement.
(5) No marriage at all. (Look at the surrounding cards to see why it hasn’t happened).

The Queen is present in the very first pile, which means within 1-2 years. The card surrounding her in the pile were :
The 4 of Clubs and Ace of Clubs can represent establishing the foundations of a new business or new employment. Aces are al about new beginnings and Ace of Club is usually about new business or employment. 6 of hearts represents a boyfriend, a loved one, therefore I will say she might fall in love and then get married to the boyfriend.

Another wonderful reading.

Next you shuffle and take out 20 cards from the spread. This is the yes/no answer for the question if the person will get married at all.

The interesting 20 cards were:
The King of Diamonds is the very first card and the only other Queen we have in the spread is Queen of Spades. He actually have been married before and that Lady could be the Queen of Spades. They have been divorced now. The only other court card if King of Hearts who is closer to Queen that him. This could be another man in the future wife's spread.

Since the King has appeared in the 20 cards, this means a Yes, so moving on to next step for determining the "when" part, we divide the cards into 5 piles of 4 each. Whichever pile contains the significator card is the indicator of timing.

(5) No marriage at all. (Look at the surrounding cards to see why it hasn’t happened).

The King is found in the 3rd pile which means the marriage will take place only after 5 years.

The other cards are 9 of Clubs, 5 of Hearts and 3 of Hearts. 9 of Clubs can represent someone from distance or someone from far away. 5 of Hearts usually refers to a girlfriend or a loved one female in querent's life. The 3 of Hearts refers to falling in love and meeting new love. I think the chances are that he will fall in love while travelling or with a girl who lives far away.

The perspectives look encouraging for him.
