After being inspired by the example reading given on the link I posted above, I did it for myself too.

Q: What should be my course of action to solve my unemployment problem?

Whats on my mind:

7 of Hearts which is the card of second chances or something happening again. I have had a career change, a totally drastic and unexpected one. This applies nicely. I actually am wanting a second go at things! Besides that, once again, in life I'm having a passion for my career which I had around 6yrs ago, before I got distracted by relationship & lessons.

What I dread:

Power hunger, doctor/lawyer, shrewd and cold & calculating. My parents wanted me to have a career in medicine but I refused. I do not want to become one of the money-making machines or a person who pursues career just for money. I am rather a more spiritual person, only that spirituality doesn't pay the bills.

Five of Diamonds & King of Diamonds

The Art of Cartomancy gives clues and says that these two cards together suggest the person one is attracted to. King of Diamonds is someone dealing with finance, investments or mortgages. I was actually attracted to finance sector and was pursuing a degree in same. Besides that my birth number is 8 , so I'm supposedly good with money, organizing & business management.

Future prospects/ Ideal Job:

2 of Clubs & Jack of Spades

Interestingly what I dread is King of Spades, but whats ideal for me is Jack of Spades. This one is hard to nail but I think I should consider the communication side in Army. Two of Clubs is also "gift" so it may mean I have a gift for helping people in army or troubled youth overall. I can also be a young leader, who can guide young minds towards the right direction.

Week 33 forecast

This week the theme card is 9-Changes. This card is the card which brings variety, movement and new things in life.
The Change is coming from Man and leading to Prison. This shows that the concern this week is the Man is changing the way he is keeping secrets.

14- 1 = sad news coming from or concerning a man
1-9 = Man is moving or changing
9-29 = The change leads to secrets and hidden stuff
29-3 = leaving isolation behind there is coming of pieces together

Other pairs: 14-3 = a sad news about a relationship
19-29 = crying alone
14-9 = sorrow won't last long
1-29 = man is alone
1-3= man is in a relationship
9-3 = a change leads to stronger bond

I guess this week things are changing for this man from isolation to a meeting or starting a new connection with someone.

Story weaving with Kipper cards

I did a reading few days back and then re-did another part of it and got this:

Notice the Man and Woman at two ends of the spread. This shows he (card 1 ) will eventually end up coming to her (last card) after the cards in between have been resolved.

The Card 29 shows that he has isolated himself, which he did. The Prison - Court shows like he is trying to decide it alone. Notice the effect Court has on who goes to prison. The Court-House shows there is a decision to do with the stability or comfort he experiences with this woman.

The middle card is Court - decisions which means he has yet to decide whether he will or he will not end up with this Lady in question. The Tower is adding the fear and loneliness.

Other combinations:
01-29 = man has isolated himself.
01-20 = man is at home or comfortable/stable
01-023-02 = There is decision to do with her
29 - 20 = loneliness makes him feel comfortable
29 - 02 = isolating from woman, woman feels lonely too.


Now after 10 days she asks me again:

Notice how 23-Court is the first card now in 11 days. This means the decision has been taken in past which made him move or relocate (23-09).  The Meeting as the middle card suggests he will meet her, or talk to her or they will encounter each other again. The 04-29 is frankly something I'm unable to grasp but it can mean meeting alone, or meeting somewhere like hospital, a mall, or a tall building and this meeting will be random. The Tower is next to Lady which shows she is alone.

Sad News - Winning Lots of Money - Unexpected Money - Marriage - Grand Fortune

There are some nice cards starting with the Sad news as first card. Sad - News and Winning Lots of Money could mean there are improvement coming after sorrow. The unexpected money adds the element of sudden and unexpected success with something. It will be more like a surprise. Unexpected Money and Marriage together state there is success and unexpected reward from a contract or a commitment. The spread ends with Grand Fortune which is a great card to have as an end.

14- 11 = after bad times, there are good happy times coming
14-27 = An unexpected turn of events
14-26 = great news after something sad

11-27 = unexpected success/wealth
11-3 = success in a contract/relationship
11-26 = lots of success and luck

Daily Kipper cards draw July 24, 2012

Since I have just started working with the Kipper cards, I decided to make good use of the daily draw ritual I carry put with my lenormand cards. The lenormand cards have been on and off about serious and most unseen matters in my day. Most of the times these both oracle have shocked me by showing same message in a daily reading.

Today's cards:

24 Theft _ 20-House _ 31- Short Illness

The first intuition, something missing from home or personal life is making me feel sick. I think I get what it means. I have yet not decided on which card is going to be my main card or the theme card for the daily draw, but the way these cards have been giving me info, I would rather read them as a story instead of a theme and two modifying cards.

Theft card is the negative card. So is the Short Illness card. This card tells there is something lost, or I will be taking something away from the home. Since I'm not the later kind, I will believe its the first one. The House is one's comfort and stability which is disrupted by the short-illness. House-Short Illness may also mean a small problem arising at home. We have to wait for the day to end to see how it goes.

I felt like being deprived of my right that I contribute something towards the home. I have been busy doing my share of work at home and yet someone said I do not share the burden at all. It actually made me feel very sick. How disappointing!

The middle card is 15- Good outcome in love. This gives the cards a very positive, uplifting and guided upon feelings vibe. This deck and this oracle is a loving experience.

04-21 Meeting and Living Room is like meeting in the comfort of your house. The Kipper Karten website also associates the meaning "Get Together" to card 04. This deck is like having a get together in your living room.

10-30 Journey and Courts person. If you want to embark on a journey where you leave the old and familiar behind then this deck will be like an advisor and a teacher with you.

This shows the two kinds of energies. One is very subtle, which is like sitting among peers in the comfort of your house and having a cup of tea and chit chat. The other more deeper version is, that if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone, this deck will accompany you as your teacher.

Other Combinations: 04-30 Meeting and Courts Person is a guided upon meeting, more like a chaperoned stroll where there are rules and regulations for associations.

21-10 Living Room & Journey is like leaving the comfort behind and embarking on a journey towards the unknown. This might be referring to my lenormand journey with which I find myself familiar.

The energy of the cards is so soothing, comforting and so subtle, there are hardly any ambiguities or confusions when you are working with this deck. Its actually like feeling the good outcome in love.

Kipper Karten Cards

I have a new addition to my divination tools. Its the Mystische Kipper-Karten and they are magical. During my Lenormand oracle studies, I was very much attracted to the Mystical Lenormand mainly because of the depth they add to the imagery. But the reason I strictly wanted to use a deck with lesser pictorial details was because Lenormand is an oracle of symbols and the lesser distraction you have on your cards, the better it is.  You have to be very symbol oriented rather than being picture oriented.


When I started looking for a fresh addition to my cartomancy divination tools, I was drawn towards this deck. Once they arrived I started checking them out doing a few readings and I'm still trying to get hold of the meanings.

There are 36 cards, just like lenormand petit deck. There are people cards, there are cards similar to the lenormand oracle cards and there are positive and negative cards. I'm yet trying to get hold of the meanings but after an extensive study of lenormand for one year, this deck is coming to me like too easily. Actually I have found reading with this deck easier than with my lenormand deck, which by the way, has been my best friend for about over a year now.

These are some great resources which will help you a lot in your study of these cards. The meanings given in the first link are a guideline, you have to use them to learn about these cards. I have found that having too many meanings for one card sometimes result in over complicating a reading. This happens when you have no idea which meaning to stick to. When it comes to meanings, I believe in the lesser the better.
The KipperKarten Garden is a great resource mainly because Mama Whodun has been studying both lenormand and kipperkarten and she finds some remarkable resemblances between them which help the students who have been learning lenormand for a while.
